A humorous serving of post-Super Bowl Humble Pie from Paul “Fitzy” Fitzpatrick, with the funniest description of Beantown sports fans I’ve ever heard.
“Now you guys have made us go back to the miserable, shithole, chip on our shoulder, everyone against us sports fans we used to be – you know, Boston sports fans!”
For perhaps the first time in its history, Vanity Fair is featuring coverage of a video game. What, no new philandering heirs about whom to report? The game certainly looks nifty, but haven’t traditional consoles simply jumped the shark since the introduction of the Wii?
Reports from Sweden suggest that the country’s Performing Rights Society is in negotiations with Internet Service Providers to incorporate the cost of downloading music into a user’s monthly subscription cost. On this side of the pond, we have Gene Simmons railing, Buggles-like, about how the Internet killed the recording industry.
To celebrate the 7th anniversary of his blog, Neil Gaiman is planning to release one of his works online and, best of all, free. Here’s your chance to vote for your favorite Gaiman title.
Now the bonus portion of our broadcast. Those fun-loving pranksters-cum-performance artists at Improv Everywhere may have pulled off the greatest prank of all time, oddly enough by seemingly stopping time.
