I don&#039;t in any way view Merritt&#039;s songs as misogynist or pseudo-feminist. I do (like you, if I&#039;m reading you right) find it interesting that he engages with a lot of misogynist and pseudo-feminist concepts (cat-fighting; female empowerment through sexual exploitation) and then transforms them into *commentary on* these concepts through his sarcasm and cynicism.
